This is my first ever full face of first impressions post and I am super excited about it. 🙂 For today’s look I have some of my recent purchases and some that I already owned but never used.
Now without taking too much time lets get started…!!!
Full Face of First Impressions
First off I moisturized my face with Olay Moisturizing Cream. It is just a basic moisturizer which instantly hydrates my skin and I love using this in summers since it absorbs into the skin really well and does not make it feel greasy. It is a good moisturizer for oily skin.
Next, I used Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 330 Toffee Caramel. I have used this foundation earlier but in a different shade. This shade perfectly matches with my tanned skin. It spreads evenly and mattifies my face while blurring the pores. It imparts a sheer coverage and can be built up by adding layers to get medium to full coverage. It is the perfect everyday foundation which looks au naturel.
Then, I used Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 25 Medium and it is the perfect shade for me. I am very impressed with this one. Now, I know the reason why it is so hyped about. This concealer blends very easily even with the fingers. Yay!! The best part about this concealer is that it does not end up looking cakey nor does it settle into the fine lines.
I finished the base by setting the concealer using Loreal Paris Mat Magique All-in-one Transforming powder.
For my eyes, I used Maybelline Color Sensational 3D eyes palette with Glam Top Coat in Rose Quartz Pink. The colors in this palette are very pretty. This palette has 5 beautiful shades and all are shimmery. The pigmentation of these shades is not great. 🙁 Though I would try it again and see if it works when applied using a wet brush. I lined my lash line with the same black eyeshadow that comes with this palette.
For my lashes I used Maybelline Hyper Curl Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara. Over all it is a good mascara, it did not stung my eyes. The formula is neither too thick nor too dry. Does not leave the lashes feeling hard. It has little clumping but that’s ok. Also, I filled my brows using the same mascara since I finished my older brow pencil and the one that I have ordered is still on its way. He he!! Does anyone of you do it or is it just me???
Continuing with the face makeup I used City Color Blush that I received in my fab bag long back but had never used. I thought this was the best time to use it. I am quiet impressed with this blush bronze palette. I used the dark brown shade to for contouring and the baby pink shade as a blush on the apples of my cheeks.
For the highlighter I used Borghese Crema Blush Milano in Stellatto Notte 01 that I purchased from an International website. I used this on my cheek bones, bridge and tip of the nose, cupids bow and chin. The crème formula blends easily giving the perfect highlighter effect.
For my lips I used Loreal Infallible Cream Mega Gloss in 107 Who’s the boss. Generally I stay away from lip glosses because of the stickiness. But this one does not feel too sticky and I am in love with its texture and fragrance. I love the applicator it is similar to the YSL gloss. Who’s the boss is a bold plum colour which is gorgeous and would suit all the skin tones.
