My Experience

MUA Blusher shade 3

Makeup Academy Blushers come in black pan with transparent plastic lid in simple packaging. It has a click mechanism which closes the lid securely but I don’t find it travel friendly. I picked up shade 3 which is beautiful pink blush with brown undertones. It is a matte shade with slight shimmer which is not visible on application. It can also be used as a contouring shade. This would suit fair to medium skin tones and can be used a daily office wear blush as it gives subtle neutral pink flash of colour on the cheeks. It is a great shade for beginners.

Texture of this blush is extremely smooth and it blends on the skin really well. Inspite of it being a powder blush I did not find it chalky. One swipe is good to go as it adequately pigmented. Since the powder blush is finely milled you may experience little product fallout.

Staying power is about 4-6 hours after which it started fading gradually but it does not get patchy as it contains magnesium stearate which leads to long staying power of the product.

My Thoughts about the product

I am in love with this shade though it has slight shimmer. The pigmentation is really good. The best thing is that it can also be used as a contouring shade. Staying power is also good. But in my opinion the packaging could have been a little sturdy though for now I am fine with it.

A must have product in your stash. It is simply amazing. I am in love with it. πŸ™‚
